adidas Fan Lounge

The brief:

  • Design an interactive fan zone at the Audi Dome in Munich (home of FC Bayern Munich Basketball).
  • The overall design should combine the basketball look with the premium quality aspirations of adidas
  • High-yield lead generation and an effective means of cultivating Social Media involvement were two key goals

The implementation:

  • Interactive adidas fan lounge with iPad terminals (competitions at well-attended home games, adidas Basketball Games)
  • Unmanned photo-point with self-operated shutter trigger and automatically changing background
  • Expo construction in adidas CI & basketball look
  • Conceptualisation, design & the entire implementation were carried out by Chaka2

The result:

  • 7000 fans were given the opportunity to interact even more closely with the club at every single home game – thus consolidating and expanding the club’s fan culture
  • The Social Media link-up featured newly created touchpoints and there’s the fan zone in the Audi Dome for FC Bayern Munich Basketball. With around 500,000 fans this makes it one of the leading hubs of its kind in Europe.
